Gee, what a surprise.
http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/world/war-logs.html
A trove of military documents made public on Sunday by an organization
called WikiLeaks reflects deep suspicions among American officials that
Pakistan’s military spy service has for years guided the Afghan
insurgency with a hidden hand, even as Pakistan receives more than $1
billion a year from Washington for its help combating the militants......
More at the link.
Face it folks.....we've been under total jackass leadership since the Afghan war started.
Fighting a war on a tactic is friggin stupid....fighting a war to "win hearts and minds" is a fools errand. But the most vicious lie is the damnable idea that we're spreading democracy at the point of a gun.
We aren't going to win this war if we fight this way. I also predict Iraq will fall apart before Barry's second term is over. Things are getting worse over there.
A pack of lions led by a jackass.....that's the US military.

Maybe that's why Barry wanted to start bombing our ally -- Pakistan. Maybe he's more "honest" than Bush about our foreign wars.
Okay, couldn't keep from laughing at that.

Yeah.....could be. Who knows? The only thing I'm certain of is that we'll never win these wars, never win the Korean war and never win the next couple wars we start. (oh...I mean wars that terrorists start. Even though we invaded Iraq, they "started" the war by not honoring the UN sanctions.)
Why won't we ever win? Because we don't fight to win. Winning isn't the goal.

Re: Gee, what a surprise.
TPTB have no interest in fighting wars to a finish.
It's high time this fact is acknowledged, and the D vs. R drama is acknowledged for what it is: a diversion.
A global strategic planning group exists. Call 'em what you want. They exist, and the are in the driver's seat ... and have been for a while.

Oh, and this "leak," it's part of the plan, too.
