First of all: NEOCON, NEOCON, NEOCON NEOCON, NEOCON, NEOCON NEOCON, NEOCON, NEOCON NEOCON, NEOCON NEOCON, NEOCON, NEOCON, NEOCON.

Dang, I feel better....

Please use this thread to say what can't be said ... you know where. (This is a private forum, right aaA?)

I'll start (and please everyone, when making posts please observe proper style): YES, I DO THINK CC BEGAN ITS SLIDE DOWN THE TUBES WHEN WOLLY, RC AND JANNYMAE/SMITTY JOINED.

I'm sure as hell not going to listen to some ARROGANT and MANIPULATING a-hole who wants to get ME banned TELL ME that I'M OUT OF LINE.

Her protestations are COMPLETE bunk, and there are OBVIOUSLY a LOT of people who realize that, and share my opinion about it. If there is ANYONE who wants to "eliminate his competition," it is SMITTY.

She CLEARLY holds no value nor respect whatsoever for my opinions, me, or MY CAT if I had one, thus, the feeling is mutual.

And I'm NOT interested in ANY further discussion on the subject. I will be adjourning from this thread now.

Have a nice day.

Let's have a shot together. Laughing Cheers!

I have just discovered "Wild Turkey American Honey". This is truly the nectar of the gods. And I am a Glenlivet scotch snob.

This stuff hits an absolute sweet stop between Grand Marnier and Southern Comfort that I didn't believe existed.

I hardly drink at all, but can you guys please clear something up for me? What is the difference between bourbon and wiskey and rum? Aren't they in the same "family"? Question

And...

"Whiskey" is a family, and is made from various distilled grain mashes.

"Bourbon" is a type of American whiskey, and is made from mostly corn.

"Scotch" is a type of whiskey, made in Scotland from malt.

Rum is in a family of it's own, and is made from sugarcane.

Bourbon is also, I think, only made in Kentucky. Anything distilled outside of Kentucky cannot be called bourbon.

And Jack is also still the best whiskey, IMO, although I would be interested in tasting this Wild Turkey American Honey stuff. cheers

I know it's not rum, but whatever. My late grandfather had a wine cellar for several decades. It was a passion of his that he only shared with family and friends. Anyway, when my grandmother was moving out of he house this year with my uncle's help, he found crates and crates of wine (a crate containing 12 bottles each of course). So my dad got as a partial inheritance roughly 25 crates of wine. I'm sure we violated some interstate laws getting that wine from Pennsylvania to Virginia, but whatever.

Anyway, my dad now has bottles and bottles of wine, some of which I take for me and my wife. It's mostly various reds and whites, but there is some Meade and wines made from other fruits like blackberry, elderberry, raspberry, kiwi, cranberry, strawberry.

Needless to say, I may not be drinking other kinds of alcohol for a while.

I like the idea of an off topic forum. I'm just not sure how Whiskey can ever be considered off topic...

I agree. Whiskey is always on topic. And often makes the topics better.

Unless it's Kesslers, which if you don't know may be one of the worst whiskeys ever distilled. Their marketing slogan was "Smooth as Silk."

Did you ever try to drink silk?
